These materials include a cover letter and a Descriptive Statement of Pupils regarding 4 individuals transferred to the Carlisle Indian School from the Green Bay Agency, and 4 individuals discharged from Carlisle and transferred back to their homes in the Pine Ridge Agency due to sickness. A series of twenty nine letters written to Captain Richard H. Pratt in response to a questionnaire sent to former students. The accompanying questionnaire forms are not included.

The commencement program for the Eighteenth Anniversary and Ninth Graduating Exercises of the Indian Industrial School at Carlisle, Pennsylvania.  The program includes a schedule of events as well as a photograph of the graduating class of 1897.

These materials include a descriptive statement of pupils for two individuals, George Welch and Abbie Doxtator, sent to the Carlisle Indian School from the Wittenberg Indian Industrial School in Wittenberg, Wisconsin. These individuals were likely transferred to Carlisle after attending Wittenberg, but this is unclear from the records.

This program was distributed for a performance by the students as part of the Commencement Exercises for 1917. The play, "The Continental Congress," is taken from McBrien's "America First," and the school borrowed the costumes for the performance. It surrounds the formation of the first Continental Congress and the Declaration of Independence…
