Acting Superintendent J. R. Wise recommends that John H. Londroche, a member of Carlisle's Class of 1903, be appointed as a disciplinarian in the Indian Service. Wise forwards Londroche's application and references to the Commissioner of Indian Affairs and endorses him in his cover letter.

J. R. Wise forwards Milton I. Zeigler's suggestions for the improvement of purchasing harness, leather, shoe findings, saddlery, etc. Zeigler also discusses various tools that are not replaced very often due to their durability. The majority of the suggestions are included on the Schedule for securing goods.

J. R. Wise provides the second proof of the circular requested by the Office of Indian Affairs and discusses the type of paper which can be used. Wise ends by noting that the printing department students were happy to know that the office was pleased by their work.

J. R. Wise informs the Office of Indian Affairs of the reason for the delay in forwarding the attendance report of the school for the quarter ending September 30, 1905.

J. R. Wise requests that the $94 for a surrey sold to Grand Junction School be credited to the 1906 fiscal year appropriation.

J. R. Wise forwards the comments of Milton I. Zeigler regarding the shoe and harness materials requested by the Superintendent of the Fort Shaw Indian School.

J. R. Wise forwards a proof copy of approximately three-quarters of the C. E. Kelsey report due to the size of the report. Wise notes that following the receipt of the proof the first sheets will be printed and the rest of the report will be set up for examination.

J. R. Wise responds to an Office of Indian Affairs inquiry regarding the shipment of a wagonette shipped from Carlisle to the superintendent of the Albuquerque School. Wise goes through how the wagonette was shipped and ways to reduce the cost of shipment for an upcoming wagonette shipment to the Riverside School.

J. R. Wise informs the Office of Indian Affairs that he has forwarded 300 copies of C. E. Kelsey to the office and 200 copies to Kelsey.

Major William A. Mercer submits a report that lists an employee who has left the school (Genus E. Baird) and all employees working at the school to start the 1906-1907 fiscal year. These reports include personal information about those being hired as well as reasons for departure for those leaving. 

William A. Mercer requests that various employees be excused from participation in the employees' general mess including those who have their homes and reside outside the school.

J. R. Wise responds to an Office of Indian Affairs letter regarding the Jamestown Exposition. Wise provides a list of articles to be provided by the Carlisle Indian School as well as building the exhibition cases. J. R. Wise provides further information to the Office of Indian Affairs regarding the design of Indian Office exhibit at the Jamestown Exposition. Wise also encloses a frieze designed by Angel De Cora for the walls of the exhibit and asks for the Office to procure burlap for the walls.

Acting Superintendent J. R. Wise forwards Edward H. Colegrove's application for a 3-day annual leave of absence. Colegrove works as a disciplinarian. 

William A. Mercer clarifies his decision to withhold the money at the Carlisle Indian School of Amos Thomas. Mercer outlines the steps to determine the decision to transfer those funds to the Emergency Account. 

J. R. Wise forwards to the Office of Indian Affairs correspondence related to the shipment of the Carlisle Indian School to the Jamestown Exposition which was lost in transit. Included is a list of items shipped along with an assigned monetary value along with the suggestion of the Transportation Agent at the Jamestown Exposition.

J. R. Wise replies to an Office of Indian Affairs by enclosing vouchers used by students to track their financial account at the Carlisle Indian School. In addition, Wise provides reasons for not printing various certificates.
