Michael Martin Student File

Student file of Michael Martin, a member of the Caddo Nation, who entered the school on September 13, 1908 and ultimately departed on May 7, 1912. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a medical/physical record, a progress/conduct card, an outing record, correspondence, and an application for enrollment. The file indicates Martin worked at the Famous Shoe Repair Co. in Philipsburg, New Jersey in 1911 on the outing program.

 

Millard Hendrick Student File

Student file of Millard Hendrick, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on September 27, 1906, and departed on April 30, 1907. The file contains a student information card, an application for enrollment, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating that, in 1911, Hendrick was farming in L'Anse, Michigan.

In school documentation Millard Hendrick's name is also spelled Millard Hendricks.

 

Robert Hallett Student File

Student file of Robert Hallett, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on September 7, 1895, and departed on September 20, 1900.  The file contains a student information card, a former student response postcard, and a report after leaving indicating that, from 1910 to 1913, Hallett was working as a laborer in White Earth, Minnesota.

 

Charles Guyon Student File

Student file of Charles Guyon, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on September 13, 1905 and departed on September 15, 1906. The file contains a student information card, newspaper clippings, a trade/position record card, correspondence, a returned student survey, an application for enrollment, and a report after leaving.

John Greensky (Sharwahnezbig) Student File

Student file of John Greensky, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on October 4, 1903, and departed on July 1, 1908. The file contains a student information card, correspondence, and a report after leaving indicating that, in 1911, Greensky was working as a laborer in Chicago, Illinois.  The file also contains correspondence between Greensky and Nellie Robertson Denny indicating that Greensky was looking for work with the Ford Motor Company.

In school documentation John Greensky's name is also spelled John Greenskye. He is also known as Sharwahnezbig.
