Robert McArthur Student File

Student file of Robert McArthur, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on August 25, 1897 and ultimately departed on September 4, 1901. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards and a report after leaving indicating McArthur was working as a disciplinarian in the Indian Service, in Wahpeton, North Dakota in 1912.

 

Thomas Mason Student File

Student file of Thomas Mason, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on August 27, 1892, and departed on March 19, 1901.  The file contains a student information card, former student response postcards, correspondence, and a report after leaving indicating that in 1915 Mason was working as a carpenter and laborer in Redby, Minnesota.

In school documentation Thomas Mason is also known as Thomas J. Mason.

 

Henry Martineau Student File

Student file of Henry Martineau, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on September 4, 1895, and departed on May 1, 1896.  The file contains a student information card, a former student response postcard, and a report after leaving indicating that, in 1913, Martineau was working as a stationary engineer in Red Cliff, Wisconsin.

 

Thomas Rowland Student File

Student file of Thomas Rowland, a member of the Cheyenne (Northern) Nation, who entered the school on February 28, 1907. No departure information is provided. The file contains trade/position record cards, a progress/conduct card, an application for enrollment, and medical/physical records.

In school documentation Thomas Rowland's name is also spelled Thomas Rolland.

 

Lora Situwitsuh Student File

Student file of Lora Situwitsuh, a member of the Pueblo Nation, who entered the school on August 24, 1884 and departed on July 8, 1889. The file contains a student information card and a report after leaving indicating that Situwitsuh was a housewife in Bibo, New Mexico, in 1910.

In school documentation Lora Situwitsuh's name is also spelled Lora Sitiwitsuh. Her married named is Lora Paisano (Mrs. Martin Paisano).

 

Charles Martin (Takomine) Student File

Student file of Charles Martin, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on February 11, 1884, and departed on June 14, 1887.  The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, a former student response postcard, a position card, and a report after leaving indicating that Martin was working as a Blacksmith in Beaulieu, Minnesota, from 1910 to 1913.

In school documentation Charles Martin is also known as Takomine, Charles C. Martin, and Charlie Martin.

 

Charles Lydick Student File

Student file of Charles Lydick, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on August 28, 1902 and departed on March 16, 1907. The file contains a student information card, a former student response postcard, a marriage announcement to Anna Marie Landvik, and a report after leaving indicating that Lydick was working as a storekeeper in Hardisty, Alberta, Canada, in 1913.
