George Johnson Student File

Student file of George Johnson, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on September 9, 1889, and departed on October 10, 1890.  The file contains a student information card, which indicates that Johnson went on an outing in 1895.  The inconsistency between the date of the outing and the dates of attendance is not explained.

 

William B. Jackson Student File

Student file of William B. Jackson, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on October 31, 1902, and departed on May 30, 1905. The file contains a student information card and a report after leaving that indicates Jackson was farming in Rosebush, Michigan in 1910.

In school documentation William B. Jackson is also known as William Jackson.

 

Daniel Jackson Student File

Student file of Daniel Jackson, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on August 8, 1889, and departed on June 21, 1894.  The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, a former student response postcard, and a report after leaving indicating that, in 1910, Jackson was farming in Rosebush, Michigan.

William G. Isham Student File

Student file of William G. Isham, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on August 21, 1903, and departed on January 22, 1906.  The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, former student response postcards, correspondence, and a report after leaving indicating that, in 1913, Isham was working as a watchman and lumberjack in Bena, Minnesota.

In school documentation William G. Isham is also known as William Geo. Isham and William George Isham.

 

William Isham (Kawage) Student File

Student file of William Isham, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on February 5, 1891, and departed on July 29, 1892.  The file contains a student information card and a report after leaving indicating that Isham was working in the Indian Service in Reserve, Wisconsin, in 1910. 

In school documentation William Isham is also known as Kawage.

Note: While the documents indicate that Isham married Luzenia Tibbetts, this was written in error.
