Richard Henry Pratt informs the Office of Indian Affairs that Samuel H. Gould, Principal Clerk of the Carlisle Indian School for the last ten years, died suddenly earlier in the day.

Richard Henry Pratt reports the death of Annie R. Jordan, head of the Laundry Department, to the Office of Indian Affairs.

Cover letter in which Richard Henry Pratt forwards accounts of Annie R. Jordan who is recently deceased. Pratt requests to pay the amount due Jordan directly to her husband.

Superintendent W. A. Mercer advises the Commissioner of Indian Affairs that Miss Carter's leave of absence was due to sickness. Mercer also informs the Commissioner that Carter died on March 11th. He requests the Commissioner to approve Miss Carter's application for a leave of absence with pay. 

Commissioner of Indian Affairs Cato Sells writes to Warner Thompson regarding the death of Annie S. Ely, the former head of the Outing Department at the Carlisle Indian School. Commissioner Sells praises Ely's record of nearly 30 years in that department.
