The file contains a student information card, a former student response postcard, physical records, a progress report, an application for enrollment, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating that, from 1911 to 1913, Three Irons was working as a laborer in Crow Agency, Montana.

Jesse Powlas Student File

Student file of Jesse Powlas, a member of the Onondaga Nation, who entered the school on August 30, 1904, and departed on June 23, 1909. The file contains a student information card, a physical record, a progress card, and a newspaper clipping.  The records indicate that Powlas came to Carlisle from the Haskell Institute, and went on three outings while at Carlisle.

In school documentation Jesse Powlas' name is also spelled Jesse Powlass.

 

Philip Draper Student File

Student file of Philip Draper, a member of the Navajo Nation, who entered the school on November 5, 1910 and departed on June 16, 1913. The file contains a student information card, trade/position record cards, outing records, outing evaluations, a progress/conduct card, a returned student survey, medical/physical records and health reports, letters/correspondence, a Christmas card, an application for enrollment, and a report after leaving that indicates Draper was living in Fort Defiance, Arizona in 1914.

In school documentation Philip Draper is also known as Phil Draper.

George Thomas Student File

Student file of George Thomas, a member of the Crow Nation, who entered the school on November 17, 1883, and ultimately departed on March 7, 1890. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards and a report after leaving indicating that Thomas was living in Leavenworth, Kansas in 1910.

In school documentation George Thomas is also known as Jo-Jo.

 

Thomas Stewart Student File

Student file of Thomas Stewart, a member of the Crow Nation, who entered the school on December 16, 1888, and departed on July 3, 1897.  The file contains a student information card, former student response postcards, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating that Stewart was farming in Lodge Grass, Montana, between 1910 and 1913.

 

Eddie Powlas Student File

Student file of Eddie Powlas, a member of the Onondaga Nation, who entered the school on November 4, 1902, and departed on June 30, 1906.  The file contains a student information card indicating that Powlas went on two outings while at Carlisle.

Student file of Joe Stewart, a member of the Crow Nation, who entered the school on November 17, 1883, and departed on July 29, 1890.  The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating that Stewart was working as a carpenter and farmer in Hardin, Montana, in 1910.
