Student file of John Williams, a member of the Onondaga Nation, who entered the school on November 4, 1902, and departed on June 30, 1903.  The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating that Williams was farming in Syracuse, New York in 1911.

 

Henry Bradley Student File

Student file of Henry Bradley, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee, who entered the school on April 5, 1898 and ultimately departed on February 28, 1903. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards and a report after leaving indicating that Bradley was working as a farmer in Cherokee, North Carolina in 1910.

 

Charles Kihega Student File

Student file of Charles Kihega, a member of the Iowa Nation, who entered the school on February 25, 1880 and departed on June 10, 1884. The file contains a student information card indicating that Kihega went on one outing while at Carlisle.

In school documentation Charles Kihega is also known as Charlie Kihega.

Goliath Bigjim (James B. Driver) Student File

Student file of Goliath Bigjim, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee who entered the school on June 10, 1894 and ultimately departed on August 19, 1903. The file contains letters/correspondence, photographs, a newspaper clipping, a trade/position record card, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Bigjim was on the track and field team at Carlisle in 1900, 1901, 1902, and 1903, owned a bakery in Derry Church, Pennsylvania (Hershey, Pennsylvania) in 1910, was living in Derry Church, Pennsylvania in 1912, and continued to own his own bakery in Hershey, Pennsylvania in 1914.

Maggie Quartz Student File

Student file of Maggie Quartz, a member of the Onondaga Nation, who entered the school on December 10, 1902, and departed on June 24, 1904.  The file contains a student information card, correspondence, and a report leaving indicating that Quartz was married to a Private Loney Blairfield of the United States Cavalry and living in West Point, New York in 1917.

In school documentation Maggie Quartz is also known as Margaret Quartz. Her married name is Maggie Bairfield, Margaret Bairfield, or Margaret Quartz Bairfield (Mrs. Toney Bairfield).
