Joseph Hummingbird (Anm-ke-ah) Student File

Student file of Joseph Hummingbird, a member of the Kiowa Nation, who entered the school on December 2, 1897, and ultimately departed on August 5, 1903. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards. The file indicates Hummingbird took a position at the Carlisle Indian School in 1903.

Fred Siouxman (Fatty Small Eyes) Student File

The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file indicates Miller was living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania after departing from Carlisle.

John Seminole Student File

Student file of John Seminole, a member of the Cheyenne Nation, who entered the school on February 21, 1898, and departed on June 26, 1903.  The file contains a student information card, returned student surveys, former student response postcards, and a report after leaving indicating that, from 1910 to 1913, Seminole was working as a laborer in Lame Deer, Montana.
