The records indicate that Whitefox left Carlisle to enlist in the Navy.

Henry Roman Nose Student File

Student file of Henry Roman Nose, a member of the Cheyenne Nation, who entered the school on October 6, 1879 and departed on September 18, 1883. The file contains newspaper clippings, a letter, former student response postcards, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving. The file indicates that Roman Nose was farming in Bickford, Oklahoma from 1910 to 1914 and that Roman Nose went on to become Chief of the Cheyennes. The file also indicates that Roman Nose was that Roman Nose was a member of the Fort Marion prisoners group in St.

Sumner Riggs (Red Hat) Student File

Student file of Sumner Riggs, a member of the Cheyenne Nation, who entered the school on September 6, 1880, and departed on December 4, 1884.  The file contains a student information card, correspondence, former student response postcards, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating that he was working as a merchant and farmer in Fay, Oklahoma, from 1910 to 1913.

In school documentation Sumner Riggs' name is also spelled Summer Riggs. He is also known as Red Hat and Sumner Stacy Riggs (also spelled S. Stacy Riggs, S. S. Riggs, and Sumner Stacey Riggs).

The file contains a student information card, a former student response postcard, and a report after leaving indicating that Co-zed was farming in Apache, Oklahoma in 1914.

In school documentation Co-zed's name is also spelled as Cozad. He is also known as Below, Belo Cozad, and Below Cozad.

In school documentation Sherman Chadlesome's name is also spelled Sherman Chadleson, Sherman Chadlesone, and Sherman M. Chadlesone. He is also known as Mi-pane-ta.

 

Thaddeus Redwater (Bull Owl) Student File
