Fred Roundstone Student File

Student file of Fred Roundstone, a member of the Cheyenne Nation, who entered the school on September 9, 1896, and ultimately departed on February 26, 1908. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, former student response postcards, a returned student survey, an application for enrollment, and a report after leaving. The file indicates that Roundstone attended the Fort Shaw Indian School, was farming in Busby, Montana in 1910, ranching in Busby, Montana in 1913, and farming in Busby, Montana in 1914.

In school documentation Fred Roundstone's name is also spelled Fred Round Stone. Roundstone seems to have a two-word Native name; the first word is "Sweet," but the second is illegible.
