The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating that James was working as a ranch hand in Hopland, California in 1911.

Student file of Bunn Armstrong, a member of the Assinibione Nation, who entered the school on April 15, 1890, and departed on July 2, 1898.  The file contains a student information card and a report after leaving that indicates that Armstrong served as a rancher in Wolf Point, Montana, in 1910.

 

Archie Johnson Student File

Student file of Archie Johnson, a member of the Coquelle Nation, who entered the school on August 9, 1894, and departed on September 23, 1898.  The file contains a student information card, correspondence, a returned student survey, a former student response postcard, a position card, and a report after leaving indicating that Johnson was working as a farmer in Siletz, Oregon, between 1911 and 1913.

In school documentation Archie Johnson is also known as A. P. Johnson and A. R. Johnson.

Quincy Adams Student File

Student file of Quincy Adams, a member of the Assinaboine Nation, who entered the school on April 15, 1890 and departed on September 30, 1900. The file contains a student information card and a report after leaving. The file indicates Adams was a farmer in Poplar, Montana in 1910 and a farmer Fort Peck, Montana in 1911.

 

Burt Wright Student File

Student file of Burt Wright, a member of the Arikara Nation, who entered the school on November 3, 1901, and departed on August 3, 1905.  The file contains a student information card, an application for enrollment, correspondence between Wright and the school, and a report after leaving that indicates that he served as a farmer in Elbowood, North Dakota, in 1910.

In school documentation Burt Wright's name is also spelled Burd Wright and Bert Wright.

 

Byron Wilde Student File

Student file of Byron Wilde, a member of the Arickara Nation, who entered the school on August 7, 1896 and departed on October 19, 1899. The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Wilde was a blacksmith and farmer in Elbowoods, North Dakota in 1910.

The file indicates that Short Bear attended the Chilocco Indian School in Chilocco, Oklahoma and was a farmer in Pawnee, Oklahoma from 1910 to 1913.

Alexander Sage (Yellow Horse) Student File

Student file of Alexander Sage, a member of the Arikara Nation, who entered the school on July 3, 1903 and departed on April 6, 1908. The file contains a student information card, an application for enrollment, a trade record card, a returned student survey, correspondence, news clippings, former student survey postcards, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Sage was living in North Dakota and working as an industrial teacher, farmer, and laborer from 1910 to 1913.

Charles D. Ross Student File
