Rose Lyons Student File

Student file of Rose Lyons, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on August 26, 1909 and departed on April 7, 1914. The file contains student information cards, a progress/conduct card, an application for enrollment, a news clipping, a photograph, outing evaluations, an outing record, financial transactions, a report after leaving, medical/physical records, and a list of proposed students for Carlisle, correspondence. The file indicates that Lyons was a matron at Leech Lake Indian Agency in Onigum, Minnesota in 1914 and was living in Onigum, Minnesota in 1917.

In school documentation Rose Lyons is also known as Rose E. Lyons, Rosa Lyons, and Star Eyes. Her married name is Rose L. Chatfield.
