Claude Stauffer Personnel Folder

Date
June 11, 1910 - July 16, 1914

This folder includes documents related to Stauffer's time working at Carlisle as the school musical director or band leader. Two thirds of the material relate to how Stauffer left the school. Having been suspended after the 1914 investigation into the school, Stauffer was not formally fired, but his job position was abolished. The other third of the material includes a complaint on the part of James R. Wheelock about Stauffer advising a young man to turn down a position in Wheelock's band and efficiency reports which assessed Stauffer's job performance.

The material on Stauffer's separation from the school comprises PDFs "Part One" and "Part Two." The complaint from James R. Wheelock is in "Part Three" and the efficiency reports and correspondence about promotion are in "Part Four."
