The front of this postcard advertises a football game between Carlisle and Villanova University which was scheduled for September 24, 1910. There is a cartoon below the caption "This is What a Little Indian Girl Thinks the Indian-Villanova Football Game Will be Like." The image is attributed to a Martha Red Eagle, but no one attended the school under that name.

We are compelled to pay $5 for a yearly ticket to all athletic contests so I might as well use it this afternoon we play the western Maryland team this afternoon. Frank. This is only 1 building of Indian school."
