The Cash and Check Registers includes records concerning the receipts and deposits of cash as well as the transactions from a US Treasury checking account between May 1917 and December 1918. This single volume has two distinct registers. The Cash register runs from page 3 to 10 while the Check register starts on page 11. Entries in each register are arranged chronologically. Pages without content were not photographed. The Cash and Check Registers is located at the National Archives and Records Administration, Record Group 75, Series 1349.
Several "Statement of Disbursing Accounts" issued in 1918 to the Carlisle Indian School by the US Treasury Department were found in this register.
