Minnie Billings Student File

Student file of Minnie Billings, a member of the Mohawk Nation, who entered the school on October 21, 1903, and ultimately departed on September 29, 1912. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, a newspaper clipping, an application for enrollment, medical/physical records, a former student response postcard, outing evaluations, a trade/position record card, outing records, correspondence, financial transactions, a progress/conduct card, and a report after leaving indicating Billings was a housewife living in Deseronto, Ontario in 1914.

In school documentation Minnie Billings' married name is Minnie Billings Brant (Mrs. Benson Brant), also spelled Minnie Billings Brandt.

Note: Students James Billings and Minnie Billings were siblings. Peter Billings (who enrolled in 1902) may be their brother.
