Evelyn Pierce Student File

Student file of Evelyn Pierce, a member of the Seneca Nation, who entered the school on July 1, 1905, graduated in 1910, and ultimately departed on January 3, 1912. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains a trade/position record card, student information cards, medical/physical records, outing evaluations, applications for enrollment, newspaper clippings, an outing record, a progress/conduct card, financial transactions, a report after leaving, and correspondence. The file indicates Pierce was attended the West Chester Normal School in West Chester, Pennsylvania in 1910, was enrolled at the Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas in 1913, and was then appointed assistant clerk at the institute in 1914.
