The file contains student information cards, correspondence, financial transactions, a federal financial aid form, an application for enrollment, medical/physical records, an outing record, and a certificate of promotion. The file indicates that in June of 1917 May moved to Detroit, Michigan to work in the Ford Motor Company. While in Detroit May decided to join the army and was stationed overseas as of March 1918.
