Thomas Bourassa Student File

Student file of Thomas Bourassa, a member of the Shawnee Nation, who entered the school on April 9, 1912 and departed on January 9, 1918. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, medical/physical records, an outing record, outing evaluations, financial transactions, a progress/conduct card, a federal financial aid form, certificates of promotion, and correspondence. The file indicates Bourassa was working with the Rock Island Rail Road Co. in 1918.

In school documentation Thomas Bourassa's name is also spelled Thomas Barassa and Thomas Bourrassa. He is also known as Thomas H. Bourassa and Tom Bourassa.

Note: Students Loretta Bourassa, Ozetta Bourassa, and Thomas Bourassa were probably siblings. However, Loretta and Ozetta were identified as belonging to the Pottawatomie nation and Thomas was identified in his documentation as Shawnee.
