These images all reflect the Carlisle Indian School students, facilities, and staff. Images available here are drawn from files housed at the U. S. National Archives, from collections of Carlisle Indian School materials housed at various archival repositories, and from a variety of published sources. Miss Elm represents the Oneida tribe and is a nurse in the Episcopal Hospital in this city. Miss Ingalls is a member of the Sac-and-Fox tribe and is fitting herself for a business career. More than 100 delegates of the union in this city and suffrage sympathizers will take part in the demonstration.
