Female Students as the "Puritan Maidens Chorus" in "The Captain of Plymouth", 1909

Group portrait of twenty-three female students wearing costumes. They are the "Puritan Maidens Chorus," characters in the performance of the play, "The Captain of Plymouth," produced at the school from March 29-March 31, 1909. 

The program lists a total of twenty-three female students playing Puritan roles, including the Puritan Maidens, the Sextette of Plymouth Daisies, and two Principal Characters. Therefore, these students probably are: Edith Ranco, Thirza Bernel, Josphine Nash, Julia Jackson, Josephine Smith, Rosa La Rose, Elizabeth Penny, Christiana Garbriel, Mary Cooke (either Mary Cook who entered the school in 1901 or Mary Belle Cooke who entered in 1906, Clara Trepania, Nona Crowe, Bertha Hawk, Adaline Greenbrier, Agnes Waite, Ramona Waggoner, Texie Tubbs, Dolly Stone, Laura Tubbs, Fleta Renville, Daphne Waggoner, Minnie White, Carlysle Greenbrier, and Ernestine Venne.
