Wallace Denny Congressional Testimony, 1914

The typed transcript of Wallace Denny's testimony before the Joint Commission to Investigate Indian Affairs. At the time Denny worked at Carlisle as Assistant Disciplinarian (in charge of the Small Boys' Quarters). He had previously attended Carlisle as a student.

In his testimony Denny offers reasons for the friction between students and school administration, recounts his side of the story in cases where he physically struck students, and suggests that the school more thoroughly screens its applicants.
