William Weeks Student File

Student file of William Weeks, a member of the Hidatsa Nation, who entered the school on August 28, 1903 and ultimately graduated in 1909, departing on April 5, 1909. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains a financial transaction, student information cards, an application for enrollment, a physical record, a returned student survey, a progress/conduct card, a news clipping, former student response postcards, a report after leaving, and an essay that Weeks wrote as a senior. According to the file, William Weeks worked in a printing office after working on a farm.

In school documentation William Weeks is also known as William H. Weeks.

Note: Although this file shows Gros Ventre, a member of the Fort Berthold community has indicated that this individual is actually Hidatsa.
