William Thayer Student File

Student file of William Thayer, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on October 30, 1912, graduated in 1915, and departed on May 24, 1915. The file contains student information cards, an outing record, an outing evaluation, an application for enrollment, medical/physical records, financial transactions, returned student survey, and letters/correspondence including a essay prize from 1914. The file indicates Thayer was working at the Hayward Indian School in Hayward, Wisconsin in 1916 and stationed at the Naval Training Camp in Charleston, South Carolina in 1917.
