Rena Button Student File

Student file of Rena Button, a member of the Seneca Nation, who entered the school on September 30, 1913, graduated in 1917, and ultimately departed on June 14, 1918. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains a student information card, an application for enrollment, an outing record, correspondence, financial transactions, an outing evaluation, a former student response postcard, and a physical record. The files indicate that while at Carlisle, Button studied home economics, and after leaving was living in Mount Holly, New Jersey.

In school documentation there is one case of Rena Button's name being spelled Rena Buttons. She is also known as Irene Jones.
