Ralph Iron Eagle Feather Student File

Student file of Ralph Iron Eagle Feather, a member of the Sioux Nation. No entrance or departure dates are given. The file contains a returned student survey, a news clipping, and a report after leaving that indicates he was working as a carpenter, painter, and wheelwright in Cut Meat, South Dakota in 1911. Other records show he enrolled at the school on October 6, 1879 and departed on June 19, 1882. He reenrolled at the school on October 10, 1886 and departed on June 14, 1887.

In school documentation Ralph Iron Eagle Feather's name is also spelled Ralph I. Eagle Feather and Ralph I. E. Feather. He is also known as War Bonnet, Wah-pah-ah, and Ralph Eagle Feather.

Note: Iron Eagle Feather married fellow student Julia Good Voice, also known as Julia Iron Eagle Feather. They were the parents of Lydia Biddle Iron Eagle Feather.
