Student file of Nellie Boutang, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on October 27, 1910, and departed on September 6, 1911. The file contains a student information card, a physical record, an application for enrollment, correspondence, outing evaluations, a newspaper clipping, a returned student survey, an outing record, a conduct card, and reports after leaving indicating that she was at school in Cass Lake, Minnesota in 1911.
Note: At the time of scanning at the U.S. National Archives, several documents in this student file seemed to relate to two different students, Adeline Boutang and Aldia Bourassa. Those documents have now been included with their respective files: Adeline Boutang, NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 76_folder 3681; and Aldia Bourassa, NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 76_folder 3682.
Note: Students Adeline Boutang and Nellie Boutang were probably sisters.
