Nellie Boutang Student File

Student file of Nellie Boutang, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on October 27, 1910, and departed on September 6, 1911. The file contains a student information card, a physical record, an application for enrollment, correspondence, outing evaluations, a newspaper clipping, a returned student survey, an outing record, a conduct card, and reports after leaving indicating that she was at school in Cass Lake, Minnesota in 1911. 

In school documentation Nellie Boutang's name is also spelled Nelling Bouting. She is also known as Nellie D. Boutang.

Note: Students Adeline Boutang and Nellie Boutang were sisters.
