Louis Schweigman Student File

Student file of Louis Schweigman, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 7, 1910 and ultimately departed on January 9, 1914. The file contains student information cards, medical/physical records, applications for enrollment, trade/position record cards, a progress/conduct card, an outing record, a returned student survey, financial transactions, and correspondence. The file indicates Schweigman was living in Greason, Pennsylvania in 1914, was a student at the Mount Herman Boys' School in Mount Herman, Massachusetts in 1914 and 1915 and applied for a job at the Springfield Armory in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1940.

In school documentation Louis Schweigman's name is also spelled Lewis Schweigman, Louis Schweigeman, Louis Schwiegman, and Louis S. Schweigman. He is also known as Louis No Belly and Louis NoBelly.
