Student file of Hiram Chase, a member of the Omaha Nation, who entered the school on October 5, 1911, graduated in 1915, and ultimately departed on May 28, 1915. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, applications for enrollment, a news clipping, a federal financial aid form, an outing record, a returned student survey, a financial transaction, and correspondence. The file indicates Chase was setting type for the Pender Republic in Pender, Nebraska in 1915.
Note: At the time of scanning at the U.S. National Archives, a document related in this student file seemed to relate to a different student, Harry Conroy. That document has now been included with the Harry Conroy file: NARA_RG 75_box 82_folder 3863.
