George W. Checote Student File

Student file of George W. Checote, a member of the Creek Nation, who entered the school on October 23, 1914 and departed on October 13, 1916. The file contains a student information card, an application for enrollment, a federal financial aid form, a medical/physical record, financial transactions, and correspondence. The file indicates Checote was working at the American Iron and Steel Co. in Lebanon, Pennsylvania in 1916 and living in Okmulgee, Oklahoma in 1917.

In school documentation George W. Checote is also known as George W. B. Checote and George Checote (also spelled George Cheote).
