The file contains a student information card, a trade/position record card, a former student response postcard, a returned student survey, correspondence, and a report after leaving that indicates that Hornbuckle was working as a farmer in Cherokee, North Carolina in 1910 and a blacksmith and farmer in Whittier, North Carolina in 1912.

 

George Bigtree (Suasen) Student File

Student file of George Bigtree, a member of the Mohawk Nation, who entered the school on August 10, 1901, and departed on May 20, 1904.  The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating that, in 1910, Bigtree was working as a laborer in Hogansburg, New York.

In school documentation George Bigtree's name is also spelled George Big Tree. He is also known as Suasen.

 

Blaine M. Hill Student File

Student file of Blaine M. Hill, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee, who entered the school on October 30, 1902 and departed on July 6, 1907. The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Hill was farming in Wahhiyah, North Carolina in 1910.

The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, an application for admission, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating that Bero was working as a laborer in Pendleton, Ontario, Canada in 1911.

Note: Students Jacob Bero and Paul Bero were probably brothers.
