Student file of William Butcher, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on February 11, 1884, and departed on June 14, 1887. The file contains a student information card and a report after leaving indicating. The file indicates Butcher was living in Leech Lake, Minnesota in 1910 and Onigum, Minnesota in 1913.

In school documentation William Butcher is also known as Kebeweus and Willie Butcher.

 

Star Bad Boy Student File

Student file of Star Bad Boy, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on September 23, 1890, and departed on October 8, 1893.  The file contains a student information card, returned student surveys, correspondence, and a report after leaving indicating that he was working as a government police officer and private in White Earth, Minnesota, from 1910 to 1912.

In school documentation Star Bad Boy's name is also spelled Star B. Boy and Star Badboy.

Note: A letter in this file indicates that student Josephine Warren was his daughter. 

 

Joseph Peter Aslin Student File

Student file of Joseph Peter Aslin, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on July 9, 1902, and departed on July 13, 1902. The file contains a student information card and a report after leaving indicating that he was living in St. Ignace, Michigan, in 1910.

Note: Students Elizabeth Eva Aslin and Joseph Peter Aslin were siblings. 

 

Anna Bebeau Student File

Student file of Anna Bebeau, a member of the Chippewa Nation, who entered the school on August 9, 1910 and departed on May 19, 1913. The file contains a student information card, a progress/conduct card, medical/physical records, financial transactions, correspondence, an application for enrollment, and a report after leaving indicating that Bebeau was married to former student Seneca Cook.

Lucinda Reed Student File

Student file of Lucinda Reed, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee, who entered the school on March 18, 1913 and departed on January 28, 1915. The file contains student information cards, medical/physical records, financial transactions, and correspondence.

In school documentation Lucinda Reed's name is also spelled Lucind Reed. She is also known as Cindy Reed and Cinda Reed.
