Miguel De Jesus Student File

In a letter, Marsden specifies that he was not a student at Carlisle but that he visited while attending Marietta College from 1891 to 1898; he was later a missionary in Saxman, Alaska in 1910.

The file contains a student information card, a news clipping, a returned student survey, a former student response postcard, correspondence, a position card, and a report after leaving indicating that Long was working on a railroad in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1914.

 

Charles Hood Student File

Student file of Charles Hood, a member of the Modoc Nation, who entered the school on September 16, 1885, and departed on July 6, 1888.  The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, correspondence, and a report after leaving indicating that Hood was ranching in Klamath Agency, Oregon in 1911.

In school documentation Charles Hood is also known as Charles S. Hood.

 

Bert Hood Student File

Student file of Bert Hood, a member of the Modoc Nation, who entered the school May 16, 1900, and departed September 13, 1905. The file contains a student information card, a letter from Hood, a former student response postcard, returned student survey, and a report after leaving which indicates that Hood was raising livestock in Yainax, Oregon in 1913.

In school documentation Bert Hood is also known as Bertie Hood.

 

Fred Smith Student File

Student file of Fred Smith a member of the Ponca Nation, who entered the school on October 27, 1879 and departed on July 1, 1882. The file contains a report after leaving and a returned student survey. The file indicates Smith attended the Haskell Institute after leaving Carlisle and was living in White Eagle, Oklahoma as of 1910.
