Caption: ENTRANCE AVENUE.

The School adjoins the borough of Carlisle on the northeast, and is reached by a public road leading into this avenue on the School grounds.

The photograph was taken looking north, showing the Adminstration Building behind the trees and the Girl's Quarters in the distance behind the Band Stand.

According to the information provided, Lopez was a clerk in an attorney's office in Rio Piedra, Puerto Rico as of 1911.

Henry Phillips (Ka-ka-ish) Student File

Student file of Henry Phillips, from the Tlingit nation who entered the school on December 8, 1887 and departed on January 5, 1892. The file contains student information cards, a photograph, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Phillips learned the printers trade at Carlisle and returned to Alaska in 1892 and worked as a machinist in Juneau, Alaska.

In school documentation Henry Phillips' name is also spelled Henry Philips. He is also known as Ka-ka-ish.
