Note: This student seems to have been called Edmund Currey in his application and Edgar Currey after he arrived at the school. 

 

Agnes Norton Student File

Student file of Agnes Norton, a member of the Ottawa Nation, who entered the school on October 6, 1906 and departed on June 19, 1911. The file contains a student information card, an application for enrollment, returned student surveys, a medical/physical record, a progress/conduct record, trade/position record cards, correspondence, and a report after leaving indicating Norton was working as an assistant in his home in Cross Village, Michigan in 1912.

In school documentation Agnes Norton is also known as Agnes C. Norton.

 

Rosa Ross Student File

Student file of Rosa Ross, a member of the Creek Nation, who entered the school on January 22, 1881, and departed on July 3, 1883. The file contains student information cards. 

Note: Although she is identified as being from the Cherokee Nation on this card, she entered the school with a group of Creek students and is identified elsewhere as Creek. Therefore we think that her identification as Cherokee was probably a mistake.

 

Arthur Lloyd Crouse Student File

Student file of Arthur Lloyd Crouse, a member of the Seneca Nation, who entered the school on October 5, 1904 and departed on June 23, 1909. The file contains a student information card, a medical/physical record, a progress/conduct record, a former student response postcard, a news clipping, and a report after leaving indicating Crouse was working as a laborer in Versailles, New York in 1910 and a blacksmith in Eden Valley, New York in 1913.

Chiltoski Nick Student File

Student file of Chiltoski Nick, a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee, who entered the school on March 13, 1896, and ultimately departed the school on March 22, 1905. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains three student information cards indicating that Chiltoski, who also went by the nickname Tossie, graduated with the class of 1905.

In school documentation Chiltoski Nick's name is also spelled Chittoski Nick. He is also known as Tossie Nick.

Charles Butler Student File

Student file of Charles Butler, a member of the Seneca Nation, who entered the school on April 7, 1899 and departed on March 22, 1900. The file contains a student information card, correspondence, a financial transaction, a returned student survey, a former student response postcard, a trade/position record card, and a report after leaving. The file indicates Butler was an steam and electrical engineer in Chilacco, Oklahoma in 1911, working as a night fireman in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin in 1913, and living in Odanah, Wisconsin in 1917.

Baptiste Schanandore Student File

Student file of Baptiste Schanandore, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on July 8, 1891 and departed on June 2, 1892. The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating that Schanandore was a carpenter in 1911 in West De Pere, Wisconsin.

In school documentation Baptiste Schanandore's name is also spelled Baptist Skenandore and Baptist Schanandore.
