The file indicates Clairmont worked with the Ford Motor Company in 1917 on the outing program, was living in Mission, South Dakota in 1918, and was stationed with the Co. 43, 11th Battalion, 163 Depot Brigade at Camp Dodge, Iowa in 1918.
