Benjamin Red Bear Student File

Student file of Benjamin Red Bear, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on November 7, 1912 and departed on July 13, 1913. The file contains a student information card, a medical/physical record, an application for enrollment, an outing record, a financial transaction, and letters/correspondence. The file indicates that Red Bear was a solider in the United States Army Auxiliary Remount Depot 326 stationed in Camp Cody, Deming, New Mexico in 1918.

In school documentation Benjamin Red Bear's name is also spelled Benjamin Redbear and Ben Red Bear.
