Bruce Goesback Student File

Student file of Bruce Goesback, a member of the Arapaho Nation, who entered the school on June 25, 1904 and ultimately departed on December 12, 1913. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, trade/position record, medical/physical records, newspaper clippings, a returned student survey, an application for enrollment, a progress/conduct card, and reports after leaving.

The file indicates that Goesback was living in Fort Washakie, Wyoming in 1911, working as an interpreter and a coach at the Wind River School in Wind River, Wyoming in 1911 and as a disciplinarian in Flandreau, South Dakota in 1914 and 1915.

In school documentation Bruce Goesback's name is also spelled Bruce Goes-back, Bruce Gooseback, Bruce Goesbeck, Bruce Groesbeck, and Bruce Grosebeck.
