Austin Holy Bear (Wind Blows) Student File

Student file of Austin Holy Bear, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on October 6, 1879 and departed on February 20, 1882. The file contains a student information card, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving that indicates Holy Bear was raising stock in Cut Meat, South Dakota in 1910.

In school documentation Austin Holy Bear's name is also spelled Austin Holly Bear. He is also known as Austin, Wind Blows, Tah-day-po-gah, and Austin Wind Blows.
