Obed Axtell Student File

Student file of Obed Axtell, a member of the Nez Perce Nation, who entered the school on September 4, 1907 and ultimately departed on June 7, 1916. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, applications for enrollment, financial transactions, outing evaluations, outing records, a conduct card, a physical record, progress/conduct reports from Dickinson College Preparatory School (Conway Hall), a federal financial aid form, and correspondence. The files indicate that Axtell took classes at Conway Hall, and after leaving Carlisle, returned home to Kamiah, Idaho.
