These images all reflect the Carlisle Indian School students, facilities, and staff. Images available here are drawn from files housed at the U. S. National Archives, from collections of Carlisle Indian School materials housed at various archival repositories, and from a variety of published sources. The postcard was sent to Mr. Chas. L. Horn, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The message (written on the front of the card reads Hello Charlie, how you was? How is the dealer? Ha! Ha! A. R. W."

A postcard with no caption. It is not certain if this is actually a building that was ever under the Carlisle Indian School as no other photographs of such buildings have been found as yet.

The postcard is addressed to a Miss Stella Yost in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. The message reads: "Stella- We are having the most beautiful time. I'll tell you about I mean everyone when we [?] get home. This is one of the stable." It was sent August 27, 1907.

The front of the postcard advertises a football game between Carlisle and Villanova University on September 28, 1907.

The card has been addressed to David H. Zarger, Chambersburg, Pa. There is no message.

There is a faint caption on the front of the postcard which reads: Frank Mt Pleasant. This postcard may date to the final season of football in which Mt. Pleasant played for Carlisle, 1907. 

On the back someone has written in pencil "FRANK MT. PLEASANT FAMOUS FOOT BALL PLAYER?"
