Request to Expend $50 to Ship Emergency Repair Supplies

Superintendent Moses Friedman requests to expend $50.00 from the "Purchase & Transportation Indian Supplies, 1914" appropriation to pay for express freight charges on shipments far from Carlisle. Commissioner of Indian Affairs Cato Sells asks Friedman what he needs the money for. Friedman responds that it is to pay for shipping of emergency repair supplies. Second Assistant Commissioner C. F. Hauke authorizes Friedman's expenditure.
