Whitney Powlas Student File

Student file of Whitney Powlas, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on September 21, 1890 and ultimately departed on January 20, 1898. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, former student response postcards, a returned student survey, and a report after leaving indicating that Powlas was a farmer in West De Pere, Wisconsin in 1914.

In school documentation Whitney Powlas' name is also spelled Whitney Powless.

Note: One of the cards in this file correctly shows the father of Whitney to be Simon Powlas, but the other card incorrectly lists the name Samuel.
