Thomas Bourassa Student File

Student file of Thomas Bourassa, a member of the Shawnee Nation, who entered the school on April 9, 1912 and departed on February 10, 1918. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, medical/physical records, an outing record, outing evaluations, financial transactions, a progress/conduct card, a federal financial aid form, certificates of promotion, and correspondence. The file indicates Bourassa was working with the Rock Island Rail Road Co. in 1918.

Note: A document of Thomas Bourassa was originally found in the folder of another student; Clifford Brooks, NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 120_folder 4845.

Note: Students Loretta Bourassa, Ozetta Bourassa, and Thomas Bourassa were probably siblings. However, Loretta and Ozetta were identified as belonging to the Pottawatomie nation and Thomas was identified in his documentation as Shawnee.
