Shela Guthrie Brown (Che-ke-kah) Student File

Student file of Shela Guthrie Brown, a member of the Sac & Fox Nation, who entered the school on August 29, 1896 and ultimately departed on April 5, 1911. The student did not attend the school continuously, but left and reentered. The file contains student information cards, an application for enrollment, medical/physical records, a news clipping, an outing record, a progress/conduct card, a returned student survey, trade/position record card, and a report after leaving indicating that Guthrie was keeping house for her sister and herself in the Sac & Fox Agency, Oklahoma in 1910 and living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1911.

In school documentation Shela Gutherie Brown is also known as Shela Gutherie (also spelled Shelah Gutherie), Shela B. Gutherie, Che-ke-kah, and Chi-ki-ka.
