Ruth Walton Student File

Student file of Ruth Walton, a member of the Peoria Nation, who entered the school on September 20, 1909 and departed on June 24, 1912. The file contains letters/correspondence, financial transactions, outing evaluations, an application for enrollment, a student information card, medical/physical records, former student response postcards, a returned student survey, a report after leaving, an outing record, and a progress/conduct card.

The file indicates Walton was living in Chetopa, Kansas in 1912, the Assistant Matron at the Lower Brule Indian School in Lower Brule, South Dakota in 1914, and was housekeeping and raising poultry in De Grey, South Dakota in 1915.

In school documentation Ruth Walton is also known as Ruth M. Walton. Her married name is Ruth Thompson or Ruth Walton Thompson.
