Rena Flying Coyote (Emily Black Wolf) Student File

Student file of Rena Flying Coyote, a member of the Cheyenne Nation, who entered the school on September 9, 1896 and departed on June 24, 1904. The file contains student information cards, correspondence, a returned student survey, a former student response postcard, and a report after leaving indicating Flying Coyote had worked as a housekeeper in Darlington, Oklahoma in 1910 before becoming a housewife in 1913.

In school documentation Rena Flying Coyote is also known as Emily Black Wolf. Her married name is Rena Flying Coyote West, Rena F. C. West, or Rena F. Coyote West (Mrs. Lightfoot West).
