Norris Stranger Horse Student File

Student file of Norris Stranger Horse, a member of the Sioux Nation, who entered the school on November 30, 1882 and departed on July 6, 1888. The file contains a returned student survey and a report after leaving that indicates Stranger Horse was working as a farmer in Wood, South Dakota in 1912.

In school documentation Norris Stranger Horse's name is spelled Norris Strangerhorse and Norris S. Horse. He is also known as Shields and Norris Shield.

Note: Stranger Horse was married to former student Grace Cook (Crockery Face).
