Louisa King Student File

Student file of Louisa King, a member of the Oneida Nation, who entered the school on September 17, 1892 and departed on March 20, 1895. The file contains student information cards, correspondence, and a report after leaving indicating King married John Hill and was living in West De Pere, Wisconsin, in 1912. Other records show that King first enrolled on June 22, 1888. The card in this file reflects her re-enrollment.

Note: In this file the student's name appears both as Louisa King and Louise King.

Note: At the time of scanning at the U.S. National Archives, a document in this student file seemed to related to a different student, Lillian King. That document has now been included with the Lillian King file: NARA_RG 75_Series 1327_box 34_folder 1615.

Note: These documents were found filed at the U.S. National Archives in the same folder as documents related to another Louisa King.
